Enjoying the Sabbatical... More Emphasis on Being
Until late September 2015, Jim was the lead Business Relationship Manager in a 35-person corporate organization that provided software engineering products and services to over 25,000 software developers, analysts, architects, and engineers world-wide. In addition to customer support work, Jim also took on a variety of non-customer activities, including presenting and speaking on behalf of the organization, producing and publishing a wide-variety of performance metrics, and advising or mentoring leaders, managers, and teammates --- all while closing 36% of his customer conversations and being personally accountable for 31% of total sales. Jim is someone who firmly believes in collaboration, the power of listening, and the joy of meaningful work. Today, he’s relishing being away from the typical work world, seeking peace of mind, and investing time in acquiring a better understanding of human systems.
